Zapier is a web automation app. With Zapier you can build Zaps which can automate parts of your business, making previous manual tasks quicker and easier to accomplish. A Zap is simply a "blueprint" for a task you want to do over and over. Zapier has over 700+ Zaps that will allow you to use your Txt2Give donation information to do SO many things.

In this article we're going to take a look at creating a Zap that sends you an email for every new donation. This is just one of the many ways you can use our Zapier integration. Let's get started!

This is the invite link that you will need to use:
โ€‹https://zapier.com/developer/invite/61838/7d268a0aab165e9940276611c9d68e35/

Once you've clicked on the invite link, you'll be taken to the Zapier page to either login (if you already have an account) or to create a new account.

If you are creating a new account, you'll have some basic information to fill out to get started...

To begin, click the button to start setting up your first Zap.

Next, choose the trigger that you would like to create a Zap for.

After you've chosen your trigger, you'll be asked to generate a token from your Txt2Give dashboard. Just follow the instructions provided...

In your Txt2Give dashboard, click on My Account, then Settings. The Generate Token button is found at the bottom on the page.

Once you have successfully added your API token, you will see a green "success" button.

Next, you'll set up the information that you would like to have displayed in your notification email.

After you've completed the notification set-up, you'll send a test email to confirm that the all of the desired information is included in the message.

You're almost there! After you've had a chance to view your test email, you can either click Finish to complete the set-up, or go back to any of the previous steps to be make any desired changes.

The very last step is to turn your Zap on to make it active!

Congratulations! You've successfully set-up your first Zap! Now that you have a feel for how Zapier works, feel free to take some time and explore what other Zaps you can set-up with the service.
