Not often, but on occasion, new Txt2Give users that have recently opened a Stripe account will receive the following message:
"This account cannot currently make live charges. If you are a customer trying to make a purchase, please contact the owner of this site. Your transaction has not been processed..."
What this generally means is that Stripe is requiring some additional information about your organization for their account records. Sometimes it's clarification on the organization's address, the organization's Tax ID number, etc.
In every case, Stripe will have previously tried to contact someone from your organization via email to get the required info - before putting the hold on the account. Unfortunately, those messages sometimes end up in junk/spam folders.
How to resolve the issue and remove the hold on the account
The only way to resolve the issue and have the hold removed from the account is by contacting Stripe directly so that they can collect the information that they require. You can do so by reaching out to them through their support website: support.stripe.com or by emailing them at support@stripe.com.
