In order for your cause to appear to your donor, you'll want to make sure it is active, and you have associated with the correct location (if you have more than one location).
To verify that the cause is active, select the Cause name, and click Edit Cause. Make sure that the box next to the appropriate location is checked. In our example, the location name is Main.
Box Checked = Active
Box Unchecked = Deactive
Make sure that you NEVER delete, or rename, an existing cause that has donations tied to it. This will remove the giving history that is associated with that cause. Just deactivate the cause you no longer need. This will ensure that you retain all of the giving history for that specific cause.
